1st year mbbs books review

Hey its my second blog before that i was published about introduction of mbbs 1st yr here is the link

http://wp.me/p7Rl9Q-4

Now its about books these are some most preferred, best reviewed and finely defined explained book for mbbs student

1. ANATOMY

  • General anatomy

Gross anatomy – in gross anatomy there are twoo books one in bible of anatomy bd chorasiya but the diagrams quality is so poor in BDC so , i prefer vishram sing by elsevier is best in all the ways like diagram, description and clinical correlations so its your choices both are best don’t waste in gray and grants you can study then from library or as supplement books but they are mostly less useful for 1st yr because you hv to cover a lots of course and everything is not clearly given in them at all like indians author.  Buy only one  author’s

there are 3 parts same as vishram sing                .

  • Embryology     buy only one

this book by ib sing have sufficient content but less clinical but in larsen’s human embryology the clinical with diagram are very well described.

  • Histology    buy only one book
  •
  • neuroanatomy        buy only one

  • Workbook

2. PHYSIOLOGY

  • Textbook which you have to read daily i mean throughout year

Ak jain

Guyton and hall – chapters like endocrine , cardio, excretory are good in this book study these topics from this instead of ak jain

Sembullingam by jaypee

This book is awsm but some topics are not there and much more information of topics

Clinical lab book for human and hematology

3.BIOCHEMISTRY

textbook for regular

vasudevan

I will prefer harper 1st as compare to satyanarayan because stya. Hv no diag. No well represent all this book hv is written text to study  but quite effective while harpur give you bacis of biochemistry along with good representation

There is no need to buy biochem menual book because your manual will already have everything you need .

Don’t buy Cunningham manual for anatomy which is student asia adition, if you want to buy then buy only international edition only

So, these are the most important and best book to pass professional exams because there is a syllabus for exam and these book contains enough contents for exams all the chapter are there in book and all you need for 1st year is in the book. Dont go through different book study at least one or 2 books not like this and this book things will become worst  in last time . And buy only these books at least or you can find everything everybook in collage library jo there reas of issue them up will save money .best of luck 👍 dont forgot to like and give suggestions .

Anatomy is the study on how from fusion of gametes to development in womb of Homo sapiens in embryology to learn general aspect in general anatomy and then study of shape, size, bone, muscle, vessels and nerve in gross anatomy and all the way when take it up to microscope is termed histology along with study of CNS in anatomical way termed Neuroanatomy.

1stly you will study general anatomy in which you study terms . then gross anatomy about bones , dissection of cadaver , soft tissue , organs ….etc.  gross anatomy is divided into upper limb, lower limb, abdomen, thorax, head –neck and brain (in neuro)
